Frequently asked questions

I have never sung in a choir before, will I be able to cope?

We are a friendly non auditioning choir and many of our members have not sung in choirs before so you will be in good company! Although it certainly helps, you do not need to be able to read music as we also learn our peices by ear and provide recordings of parts on our website.

Where and when do you rehearse?

We rehearse every Tuesday during term time from 7 - 9pm at a church called Christ The Servant King (CSK) on Sycamore Rd in Booker, High Wycombe, HP12 4TJ

Is there a waiting list?

From time to time there may be a waiting list so it would be a good idea to get in touch with us first if you are interested in coming along.

Do I have to commit to singing in concerts if I join?

No, you don't have to take part in any concerts although we would love to see everyone join in with us as much as possible!

What type of music does the choir sing?

We don't stick to one type of genre but enjoy exploring lots of different repertoire including musicals, gospel, classical, folk, pop & blues and world music. All sorts of stuff!

Is there an age limit?

We are accepting new members aged 18 and over. There is no upper age limit.
